Purpose Of Usage

This test is used to detect the antigen of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the front nasal cavity of humans.The test is intended as an unconventional test for self-application.

Summary and Description

Coronavirus-19 is an acute infectious respiratory disease: people are usually prone to this condition. Currently, people infected by the COVID-19 are the main source of infection. Asymptomatic infections may also be the source of infection. Based on current medical research, the incubation period is 1 to 14 days, in most cases 3 to 7 days. The main symptoms include fever, shortness of breath,tiredness and dry cough.In some cases, there is loss of taste and smell,nasal congestion,runny nose, sore throat,muscle pain and diarrhea. The rapid diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection realizes early diagnosis and cuts off early transmission.

Scope Of Supply

Warning And Precautions

1.   It is suitable for checking samples in the front of the nose.

2.   The test is for one-time use only.

3.   When testing be sure to use the attached nasal swab.

4.   Do not interchange or mix parts from different kits.

5.   When testing,be sure to use the attached nasal swab.

6.   When taking out the sample, please follow the instructions. Otherwise,the test results may be inaccurate.

7.   Make sure that the collected sample does not contain any blood or is too viscous.

8.   When testing, make sure the environment is dry!Excessive temperatures may adversely affect the results.

9.   Always put the test equipment and materials in the closed cleaning bag(F) to dispose of residual waste.

10.  Do not use this test as your sole guide!If symptoms persist or worse,or if you have any doubts at any time, please consult a doctor!

Storage And Shelf Life

1.   Avoid direct sunlight and humidity! Keep out of reach of children.

2.   The reagent can be stored at room temperature or refrigerated(2---30℃) for at least 6 months,depending on the product packaging.

3.   Never freeze the parts in the test box.

4.   Do not use expired test equipment or reagents(see:label)

Testing Method

1.   Press the perforation (E) on the back of the package. Remove the extraction tube(A) and place it in the opening.

2.   Pour the entire contents of all buffer solutions(B) into the extraction tube.

3.   Use the attached nasal swab(C) and carefully insert the tip of the swab into a nostril about 2cm. Brush the nasal liner in circular motions at least 5 times to obtain a smear.

4.   Repeat the process with the same nasal swab in the other nostril.

5.   Dip the nasal swab into the extraction tube(A) containing the buffer solution.

6.   Rotate the nasal swab at least about 6 times and press the cutton ball on the bottom and sides of the extraction tube to completely immerse it in the solution.

7.   Leave the nasal swab in the extraction tube for 1 minute.

8.   Squeeze the extraction tube several times from the outside,squeeze the solution from the tip of the nasal swab, and then remove the nasal swab.

9.   Cover the extraction tube with a cap, shake it vigorously,and then place it in the opening (E) on the back of the package.

10.  Take out the test strip(F) from the sealed aluminum foil bag and place it on a flatmdry surface, such as on a table.

11.  Hold the test tube with the lid facing down,gently squeeze the side of the tetst tube to add 3 to 4 drops of the solution to the sample hole.

12.  Read the result after 15 minutes.

Test Result Description

1 Positive

The test result box shows the control line(C) and the test line(T),and the test result is expressed as a positive result.

      The subject is likely to be infected with the new corona-virus.Please make an appointment with your family doctor immediately, or call 119 (911) to contact the local emergency service. Answer any other questions to coordinate the necessary steps.Even if you do no notice any symptoms,the general rule is: stay isolated at home and avoid all personal contact.

2 Negative

Only the control line(C) is displayed in the test box result box to indicate that the test result is negative. A negative test result means that you are currently unlikely to be infected with the new coronavirus.

If you have the following symtoms, such as fever over 38℃, cough,shortness of breath,runny nose,headache and pain in limbs, tiredness and hoarse throat,if you have been in contact with an infected person or feel unwell, please contact your family doctor immediately, Or call 119(911) to contact the local emergency service to coordinate further necessary steps-even in cases of mobility difficulties.What you need to do is :stay at home and reduce your contact with other people. Please keep a distance (at least 1.5 meters),follow the hygiene rules (cough,sneeze and wash hands thoroughly),wear a mask in daily life,and ventilate regularly.

3 Invalid

If the control line(C) is not visible in the result box after the test,the result is considered invalid. Some reasons for invalid results are that the test is invalid due to incorrectly following the instructions or the test has expired. It is recommended that you retest with new test parts.

Remarks

O The color intensity in the test line area(T) will vary according to the concentration of the sample. Therefore, any shadow in the test line (T) should be considered positive.

O Insufficient sample volume improper use or expired testing are the most likely causes of errors in the control line.
